Team Fun Privacy Policy
Effective August 12, 2026
Team Fun is private family operations software for invited household members. Tasks and projects may be Personal, visible only to their owner, or Family, visible to Jordan and Chelsea. Lists, recipes, and events retain household/private visibility. Team Fun does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make it public.
PWA, ChatGPT plugin, and MCP access
The PWA uses Cloudflare Access and exact invited-person matching. Each ChatGPT user connects separately through OAuth. Authorization is enforced in domain queries. Personal tasks/projects and private records are never disclosed to the other spouse. Offline task caches and queued mutations are identity-scoped and purged when identity changes; authenticated API responses are not service-worker cached. Google and Microsoft provider tokens are never shared with ChatGPT.
Smart classification
Team Fun records classification source and confidence. Family records may teach household mappings after repeated confirmation. Personal or private examples remain owner-only. New household terms require approval, including explicit confirmation when a proposed name originated from owner-only data.
Recipes and lists
Recipes and lists are shared by default and may be private. A private recipe may add a reviewed ingredient to a shared list, but its title and provenance remain private. Shopping-list items represent planned purchases, not pantry inventory.
Notifications and files
Each device has its own encrypted Web Push subscription. Personal/private or sensitive titles are hidden on the lock screen unless enabled. Files selected in ChatGPT are retrieved once from a temporary URL, validated, stored in private R2, and linked to the requested record; temporary source URLs are discarded.
Google and Microsoft calendar data
Connected calendar permission is used to identify accounts, list calendars, inspect free/busy availability, and create, update, or delete user-directed events. Team Fun stores encrypted OAuth credentials and provider event identifiers. Personal tasks cannot use the shared family calendar or the spouse's calendars.
Storage, security, and choices
Team Fun runs on Cloudflare and restricts access to invited household members. Calendar accounts, plugin grants, push devices, household rules, and learned mappings can be disconnected, revoked, removed, retired, or dismissed through Team Fun interfaces. Deleted attachments are purged after 30 days.
Policy commitments
Team Fun's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
